I am a microbiologist and food scientist with advanced academic training and research experience. I earned a PhD in Microbiology, with doctoral research focused on the poultry gut microbiome, emphasizing microbial diversity, host–microbe interactions, and implications for poultry health and productivity. I also hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Food Science and Technology, providing a strong interdisciplinary foundation in food microbiology, food safety, quality assurance, and food processing.
I have professional research experience as a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Glasgow, where I contributed to collaborative academic research projects within an international research environment. In addition, I have experience in teaching biology-related courses, including course delivery, student mentoring, and academic assessment. My background reflects a combination of research excellence and interdisciplinary expertise in microbiology and food science.
