Faculty Profile

I’m Dr. Maria Maqsood currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Food and Agricultural Sciences, University of Management and Technology, Lahore. My Ph.D. Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree is from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (3.77/4) completed in 2023. My M.Sc. (Hons.) Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree is from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (3.92/4). My B.Sc. (Hons.) Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree is also from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (3.87/4) and secured First position (Gold Medal). I worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and taught different subjects related to the field “Human Nutrition and Dietetics”. I also worked as a Dietetics Internee at Saahil Hospital, Faisalabad. My research area is Human Nutrition and Dietetics such as to explore the therapeutic effects of foods and the bioactive compounds responsible for protective effects in the food.
