Dr. Maratab Ali earned his Ph.D. degree in Food Science from Zhejiang Gongshang University, China. Dr. Ali does his research in mitigating the alcohol off-flavor disorder in kiwifruit during postharvest storage. His research group contributes work in the field of postharvest biology/physiology of fruits and vegetables, application of pre/postharvest treatments on fruits and vegetables, and optimization of controlled and modified atmosphere storage for fruits and vegetables. Currently, He is serving as Assistant Professor at School of Food and Agricultural Sciences (SFAS), University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, Punjab Province, Pakistan. Also, He is HEC approved Ph.D. supervisor, and undertaking the research oriented postgraduate students. He is also serving as reviewer in various food science related journals. Furthermore, He has participated in several professional national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops.
