Dr. Urwa currently serving as an Assistant Professor at SFAS, UMT, and holds a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Her research is focused on Neuroprotective effects of Food components with special reference to depression and anxiety induced by smoke/ environmental pollutants. Her research interest includes nutrition psychiatry, Neuroprotective effects of Functional Foods, Nutrigenomics, Influence of environment on eating patterns. Dr. Tariq is a dedicated educator, imparting knowledge to the next generation of professionals in the field. Moreover, Dr. Tariq is also serving as a peer reviewer for reputed international journals.
