Aqsa Akhtar holds MSc (Hons) in Food Science and Technology from the University of Punjab. Her research focuses on the utilization of rice milling waste through amylolysis, production of sugar syrups, and quantification. Her research interests include cereal science, food enzymology, micro and nano-emulsions. She also works as a reviewer for Nutrition and Health (SAGE Journals). She has expertise in advanced food lab technologies and the testing of food samples.
