I completed my Ph.D. in July 2020 with the research title “Assessing the therapeutic potential of Terminalia arjuna bark extract drink with different extraction techniques.”. During my Ph.D., I also worked on a project sponsored by USAID and GAIN (the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition) to create awareness about nutritional status among school-going children and their teachers in Pakistan. I was also a co-author of a book that was part of this project. The book was written in Urdu (the national language of Pakistan) for easy access to school-going children and teachers. During my Ph.D. studies, my doctoral research work was done at Michigan State University, USA, under the Higher Education Commission's (HEC) funding. During my assistant professorship at Jinnah University for Women, Karachi, I worked on different projects related to composite flour, extrusion products, and nutritional therapies.
