Purpose of the Minor Program

The purpose of introducing minors at SFAS is to upskill undergraduate students and broaden their knowledge with courses that will make them stand out from the rest at the time of the interview. Also, the students will be better equipped to start an entrepreneurial venture related to food.

  • BS Biotechnology

Policy Guidelines

  • Minor can be taken after successful completion of four semesters
  • The minimum CGPA required for opting for a Minor is 3.00 CGPA
  • Credit Hours limit will be extended from 18 to 21 CHs with the permission of the Dean
  • Minor CGPA will be calculated separately from SGPA/CGPA
  • Successfully completing a minimum of 12 CHs (4 Courses) is necessary to earn a Minor out of seven courses offered against each Minor
  • Tuition fee will be charged as per the policy

Selection Criteria for Minors

  • The graduates of above mentioned eligible programs having a minimum CGPA of 3.00 can for opting a Minor
